Your job
Get the right people interested in Vela AI before and around launch day. Your job is to create awareness, generate leads, and make sure Sales has a pipeline to work with.
👥 You are a team of 2
Divide and conquer: one person focuses on channels and budget, the other on messaging and campaign. Align before presenting.
What you need to deliver
This is guidance to help structure your thinking — not a strict checklist. Focus on what matters most for a realistic plan.
1. Who are we targeting?
Define the ideal customer profile — job title, company size, and their core problem Vela AI solves.
2. How do we reach them?
Choose 2–3 channels and explain why they make sense for this audience and budget.
3. What is our launch message?
One clear hook — what makes someone stop scrolling and pay attention?
4. How do we allocate the €20K budget?
Split the budget across your chosen channels. Be specific.
5. How do we know it worked?
Name 1–2 measurable success metrics.
Your constraints
- Total marketing budget: €20K (shared across all activities)
- Product is not demo-ready until Week 6 — no live demos before then
- Sales team can handle a maximum of 50 demo calls per month
- You do not set the price — that is Product's decision
Who to talk to
- Sales: How many leads can they realistically handle? What quality do they need?
- Product: What is the one feature that makes people say "I need this"?
- Enablement: What marketing content will help Sales close deals?
- Partnerships: Can we co-market with any partners to extend reach?
Watch out for
- Vague channel selection ("we'll do social media") without rationale
- Generating more leads than Sales can handle
- No clear message — what is the one reason someone should care?
- Spending the full budget before launch with nothing left for follow-up
